Durra Ink Auction Success and Appraisal Train Keeps Chugging

Our printing equipment auction was a success thanks to over 30 registered bidders and spirited bidding by all. While the industry is soft we still managed to get reasonably good prices for the equipment. The Hamada press and Prism cutter fetched the highest dollars as expected. Thank you to all who participated.

We continue to see numerous requests for appraisals as we are actively appraising assets in the life science, semiconductor, printing and commercial landscape industries. Used equipment values seem to have stabilized in many industries.

Upscale Restaurant for Auction in January and Durra Ink Auction Next Week

We are pleased to have been selected to sell all FF&E from Crescent Heights Kitchen and Lounge located in downtown San Diego. This upscale, high-caliber restaurant and lounge was opened for less than one year and unfortunately, due to the poor economic climate, was recently forced to close its doors. The auction is scheduled for mid January 2011 and will feature top quality, less than one year old restaurant equipment and furnishings. We will have a complete auction catalog posted within the next week. Potential bidders can make appointments to inspect the equipment starting in early January.

Stayed tuned for more notes and details on this auction opportunity and don’t forget about our upcoming printing equipment auction for Durra Ink starting on December 7th and closing on December 9th. There is still plenty of time to register to bid and inspect the equipment (by appointment) for this auction.

FYI- Brandon passed his ASA Level 2 Business Valuation course and has his sights on Level 3 coming up early next year.  Two down and two to go. Way to go Brandon!
