Congratulations Brandon on passing CFA level 1

Job well done for our newest staff member, Brandon, on passing the first of three levels of the CFA exam ! One down and two to go. Keep up the good work.

We are full steam ahead with our upscale restaurant auction (rescheduled for Feb. 7-11) and our Dallas, TX based printing and bindery equipment auction (Feb. 22-24). Both auction catalogs have been posted and can be on our website.

Rescheduled upscale restaurant auction and upcoming Texas printing company sale

Our Crescent Heights Kitchen & Lounge auction has been tentatively rescheduled for Jan. 24-31. Preview/inspection will also take place during that week. We will continue to monitor the situation and keep all interested parties updated with any further developments. Our apologies and thanks for your patience and understanding.

Our next auction is getting set-up as we write this blog. The assets of Pro Printing/Cross Media located in Dallas, Texas will be going up for auction in late February. This auction features a number of paper cutters from Seybold, Polar Mohr and Saber along with an MBO folder, a Mueller-Martini 6 pocket stitcher and Perfect Binder, an IBM digital printing line and Oce scanner, assorted laminators, paper drills and scoring machines, an Amatco 3 knife trimmer, Epson and Agfa plotter and proofer units, a Texoma scrap paper recycling system and assorted facility support items such as forklift, compressors, pallet wrapper, phone system, IT hardware, pallet racks, office furniture and equipment and much more. We will have the auction lots posted later next week.

We are planning to be in Europe the middle of next month on appraisal assignments. Between the upcoming auctions, current appraisal projects and travel plans we are pretty busy – and very happy to be so !

New Year, New Projects

Happy New Year to all and best wishes for a healthy and prosperous year ahead.

We completed a surge of end of year appraisal projects and then decided that we needed a little time off over the holidays. It was good to rest and recharge.

Plunging into 2011 has us looking at our upscale restaurant auction (scheduled to run Jan. 18-25). We also have a trip to Germany coming up to visit with one of our semiconductor sector clients for an annual appraisal update of their cutting edge facility in Dresden. We are also working on a couple of other possible European projects and should know more in the next few weeks.

2010 was a great year for us thanks to all of our staff, clients, bidders and partners. We couldn’t do without you! Here’s looking forward to an exciting 2011.
