ASA Intl. Conference – Always Worthwhile !

Just returned from the ASA Intl. conference in Phoenix last week. Great opportunity to learn and network with other professionals in the valuation industry. Seminars presented included the latest trends in healthcare valuations, pipeline appraisal techniques, an overview of the Palo Verde nuclear power plant (largest in U.S.) and measuring obsolescence in fixed assets. Had a chance to meet with appraisers from all over the U.S. as well as Japan and Saudi Arabia. This conference is always a worthwhile investment since our profession is constantly evolving and becoming more complex.

Heading to the ASA International Conference next week

We are currently wrapping up our coast-to-coast inventory appraisal assignments. Several auction opportunities are also on the horizon.

On another note,  Alex is heading out to Arizona for the 2012 International American Society of Appraisers Conference and is looking forward to the opportunity to meet and share with colleagues.  Alex will post updates on the latest from the conference starting early next week.
